Artistic Director - Sudnya Mulye
Sudnya Mulye is a dancer and choreographer of the ancient Indian classical dance form of Bharata Natyam. She is a specialist in Indian culture. Sudnya is looked to by artists and organizations wishing to learn about and showcase the diverse cultures originating from the Indian subcontinent.
Sudnya is keen to share her knowledge and experience with all who are interested. As such, she started Sudnya Dance Academy (SDA) 20 years ago. Students of SDA learn about Indian cultural heritage, language, traditions and art forms while learning the ancient dance form of Bharata Natyam. Students connect with Indian heritage by learning at SDA.
Through the multitude of collaborative projects that Sudnya has participated in and spearheaded, Sudnya has developed a vast network of artists of all disciplines and cultural backgrounds across the Lower Mainland, Canada and internationally. Among her collaborative network, Sudnya has engaged businesses who are extremely interested in supporting the arts.
Event Coordinator - Reena Clarkson
Reena Clarkson is a philanthropist and true patron of the arts who consistently donates her expertise in event design, planning and coordination to the benefit of the arts community.
In 2014, Reena launched Clarkson Events, an event planning company based in Richmond, BC. From the conceptual stage to packing up the last boxes at the end of your event, Clarkson Events is here to assist you with conferences, celebrations or festivals of any size. The Clarkson Events team feels privileged to share in the creation and success of every client’s event. Clarkson Events has expanded their services beyond event coordination; we also provide consultation, marketing and organizational assistance to businesses, artists and organizations who require additional support to grow to their full potential.
